PROJECT scope of generating solar energy. The geographical location

PROJECT SYNOPSISTITLE-Solarbased Steam Power Plant OBJECTIVE      Generationof Power with the use of renewable and never ending source of energy. HISTORY& CURRENT WORKSteam power plant came into industrialuse in the year 1698. But with introduction of steam we all got introduced toone of the major problem faced by world that is pollution. With the passage oftime new technologies came into existence because of which power output andefficiency increased but then, the amount of pollution was never stopped.Currently we are keen to make the designof our setup on software.

We still are focused on limiting the dependency ofour project on any exterior source.  Weare making it a closed cycle so that the setup and maintenance cost is reducedand no extra equipment is used.We also are discussing and planning onour budget, with it we are studying different reports and research papers tolower down the setup cost, increase the power output, fix our dimensions andget important formulas. FUTURESCOPEIndia has tremendous scope of generatingsolar energy.

The geographical location of the country stands to its benefit ofgenerating solar energy. It contributes largely in green energy production tohelp to reduce the climatic changes globally. It is helpful in reducingPollution (Noise, Air, Water etc) by increasing the output power andefficiency. We can stop being dependent on Fossil fuels for generation of ourpower, rather we get dependent on the never ending source of energy i.e. sun.

EXPECTEDRESULTOur expected result is to produce steamwith the use of our setup and run the turbine which in turn will be helpful inproduction of energy.  DeepakKachhot                                                                Rishabh Raj (A20405414026)              (Project Guide)                                                                     MayankYadav(A20405414019)                                                                                                                                                                           Sarath SasikumarMenon(A20405414030)                                                                                                        (MAE 8th Semester)                                                                                                                                                            (Group Members)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Department ofMechanical and Automation Engineering                                                                              Amity School of Engineering and Technology                                                                                                  Amity University Rajasthan
