In Colorado, it’s the driving economic forceFor example, it made 18,000 jobs for people in colorado, and 2.4 billion dollars for the economy. Even more is expected when more and more states decide to make it legal. For example, experts say that 41,000 jobs would be created if the state of Nevada made the plant legal. More than 90 percent of other industries.
All these jobs would come from dispensaries, growing operations, and nurseries. Creating all the mentioned income and jobs. (cannabistraininguniversity.com).Mor? than 2.5 million p?opl? hav? almost lost th?ir liv?s ?ach y?ar from alcohol.
It also caus?s a lot of harm to oth?r p?opl?. N?arly ? of all traffic-r?lat?d d?aths ar? from drunk driving crash?s. Tobacco is also som?how still l?gal causing almost 5 million d?aths worldwide yearly, mostly from lung damag?. Smoking a joint ?v?ry day for s?v?n y?ars caus?s l?ss damag? than for on? y?ar of smoking according to herb.co.
Th?r? ar? still thousands of oth?r drugs p?opl? ar? abusing, much mor? dang?rous than w??d. Cough syrup, Xanax, OxyContin, and K?tamin?. All of these are examples of prescription drugs, that are much more harmful to the body and mind than cannabis.Only 2 p?opl? hav? di?d from cannabis in 2014. On? of th?m had an und?t?ct?d h?art probl?m, and th? oth?r had a history of alcohol and drug abus?. Cannabis actually r?v?rs?s th? carcinog?nic ?ff?cts of tobacco. But com?s from smoking ?v?ry day for y?ars and y?ars on ?nd. And is ?asily compatibl?. Just by taking d??p br?aths, and switch to a diff?r?nt m?thod of smoking, such as with a vaporiz?r, or out of a bong/dab rig. In th? cas? of Oliv?r Mill?r, A 14-y?ar-old boy who had a pr?-birth strok?, l?aving him a brain st?m injury, making him s?v?r?ly handicapp?d and addict?d to b?nzodiazamin?s. H? had ov?r 100 s?izur?s in a day making lif? almost impossibl? for him. H? had no acc?ss to m?dical cannabis. His moth?r was afraid h? was going to di?.

H? now can control his s?izur?s, and his lif? b?tt?r. H? now is proj?ct?d to liv? for a lif?tim?. Marijuana has many obvious m?dical b?n?fits. Th?y h?lp a man nam?d Ian Friz?ll. H? has s?v?r? Parkinson’s dis?as? causing him to not hav? any control ov?r his body. H? was in constant pain and l?ft unabl? to control hims?lf.
H? hat?d th? pr?scription m?dication, it mad? him f??l awful. H? now tak?s cannabis to calm hims?lf. It mak?s him abl? to hav? full control ov?r hims?lf. In addition to his chronic pain was all?viat?d. All aft?r a 30mg dosag?, which is nothing compar?d to most m?dication today. Also for 3-y?ar-old Landon Ridd?l. ?xc?pt this would only occur if th? us?r start?d und?r 14 and continu?d to smok? at l?ast ?v?ry day for 25 y?ars straight. ?v?rything in mod?ration. It’s th? sam? with vid?o gam?s, food, sitting down, sl??ping, ?v?n ?x?rcis?. Anoth?r point in th? articl? says “At l?ast smoking cigar?tt?s do?sn’t p??l points off your IQ” (Townhall.com). Smoking for th? sam? amount of tim? it tak?s for IQ points to b? r?duc?d, th? sam? cigar?tt?s will kill its us?r.
Cigar?tt?s ar? also much mor? addictiv?. Som? p?opl? smoking mor? than 2 packs a day. A pack contains 25 cigar?tt?s, ‘s just down th? fast track to an ?arly d?ath from canc?r, among oth?r thingsIn conclusion, r?cr?ational cannabis should b? l?gal, wh?th?r it b? th? pl?thora of jobs and r?v?nu? it would produc?, or it b?ing saf?r than most l?gal drugs, lik? alcohol, and ?v?n pr?scription drugs, and it can h?lp p?opl? much mor? than pr?scription drugs, So start thinking about inv?sting in th? gr??n.(Word limit 850 – 950 words)This is ?ntir?ly my own work, compl?t?d only during th? ass?ssm?nt p?riod in class.
