This is very important to companies when they are selling a product or exposing their product because this emotion will make the person/customer decide if they are willing to purchase it. As emotion can be triggered in a different way such as colour, texture, etc. companies use these ways to attract costumers into buying their product. For example, a company that is selling a drink will want to create the design of it as appealing to the eye as possible, by for example making the bottle in a glass as people find it very nice.
Emotion can also be triggered by the price of it, so if the company chooses to show it via their name like Scoot, Singapore Airlines Low-Cost Long-Haul airline, it will attract people to use this airline as well as talking about it to their friends.Peter Noel Murray Ph.D. said:”A nationally advertised brand has power in the marketplace because it creates an emotional connection to the consumer. As I have mentioned previously these factors create a reaction to the consumer for them to purchase the product. Without this senses, it would be very complicated for the company to improve their product using different strategies because they wouldn’t have the human reactions to lean on. This emotion, that can be manipulated by the companies is a way of developing and improving their product as well as their brand.
